A celebration of brick-building is heading to Twickenham later this month. Brick Tour arrives at St Mary's University on Sunday, 27 September, running from 10am to 3pm — and it is the kind of event that tends to delight both children and the adults who claim they are only there for the kids.
The day features large-scale displays built by enthusiasts, hands-on building areas, competitions and family entertainment. For collectors, there will be traders specialising in rare, retired and hard-to-find sets — so it doubles as a decent hunting ground if there is a specific piece you have been chasing.
The venue is St Mary's University, Waldegrave Road, Twickenham, TW1 4SX, which has good transport links from central Twickenham. The event is organised locally and is designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities, whether you have never bought a set in your life or have shelves full of them.
Ticket and pricing information is available via the event's own website, linked from the council's page.
